Speedskater-classic look

A picture from 2000 when I was working on film. After a superb scan recently I discovered little details I'd not seen before when printing them the old fashioned way in a dark room with prefab, lightsensitive paper. The scan gave some 40 megapixels from this 6x4,5 cm negative (Ilford 400 HP5 400 asa/iso). The well-buffed and therefore sprint capable speedskater posed for me in a statutesque position. He was very explosive and 300m was almost too far for him, he was a national champion on the 100m, way under 10 sec, on speedskates that is.
